Closing your account
How to delete your account and what happens to your data.

You can ask us to close your account at any time.
How to ask
Contact us from the email address on the account and tell us you want it closed. We will confirm before doing anything, because closure cannot be undone.
What happens
- Your listings are removed from the platform
- Your favourites and saved details are deleted
- Your identity documents, if you submitted any, are deleted
- Enquiries you sent to listers remain in their inbox, since they are the lister's record of the conversation
Data we may have to keep
We may retain a limited record of support tickets and any trust and safety reports for the period described in Privacy and cookies, where we are required to.
Just want a break?
You do not have to close your account. Set your listings to Inactive to hide them and simply stop using the site — see Marking a property as sold or rented.
