Posting your first listing

What the listing form asks for, and what happens after you submit it.

Last updated 11 August 2026

Anyone with an account can post a listing. You do not need a separate owner account — posting one makes your account a property owner account.

Before you start

Have ready:

  • The address and asking price or monthly rent
  • Photos of the property that match what you describe
  • Basic details: bedrooms, bathrooms, floor area or plot size

Posting

  1. Select List Property in the top bar.
  2. Choose For Sale or For Rent.
  3. Work through the steps: location, property details, photos, pricing, then review.
  4. Check the summary and select Submit for Review.

What happens next

Your listing is sent to our team for review and is not public yet. You can follow its status under My Listings. Two things must be true before it appears in search:

  1. The listing is approved — see Why listings are reviewed
  2. Your identity is verified, including your ID and a selfie — see Documents we accept

Publishing is free, so there is nothing to pay to get started. Promotion is optional and can be added later — see What costs money on Yebo.
