What to do if your listing is not approved
How to read the rejection reason and fix the problem.

If a listing is not approved, you will see a Rejected badge under My Listings with the reason our reviewer gave, and you will get a notification.
Common reasons
- Photos do not match the description — the most common reason. See Photo requirements.
- Images reused from another listing — each listing needs its own photographs.
- Not enough detail — the description is too short to tell a buyer what they are getting.
- Wrong category or type — for example land posted as residential.
- Price appears to be a placeholder — such as 1 or 1,000,000,000.
- Duplicate — you already have the same property live.
Fixing it
Open the listing, select Edit, correct what the reason describes and save. Saving sends it back for review automatically — see Resubmitting a listing.
If you disagree
If you believe the decision was wrong, contact us with the listing reference and tell us why. A different reviewer will look at it.
