Reporting a suspicious listing or user

How to report fraud, and what we do with your report.

Last updated 11 August 2026

If something looks wrong, tell us. Reports from users are how we find most bad listings.

How to report

Use the report form. You can report:

  • A listing — fake, misleading, or already taken
  • A user — someone behaving fraudulently or abusively
  • A scam — an attempt to take money or account details
  • Illegal content

Include the listing link or reference, what happened, and any screenshots of messages. You can report anonymously if you prefer, though we cannot come back to you for detail if you do.

What happens next

  • You get a reference for the report
  • It goes to our trust and safety team at high priority, and we aim to respond within four hours
  • We may remove the listing, suspend the account, or ask the lister for evidence
  • We will not tell the person you reported who reported them

If you have lost money

Report it to the Uganda Police as well, and tell your mobile money provider or bank straight away — speed matters for tracing a transaction.
